A Pair of Price Cuts are Hitting Consoles

As we get closer to the holiday season two big price cuts were announced today as Nintendo drops the Wii to $129.99 and Microsoft drops the price of XBOX 360 Elite Holiday and Kinect bundles to $249.99. The Wii will be bundled with both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort along with a Wii remote and Nunchuk all in the color black. These bundles should be widely available by the end of October.

Microsoft will be dropping the cost of the 360 Elite Kinect bundle, a 4GB console with Kinect, Kinect Adventures and Kinect Disneyland Adventures to the above mentioned price of $249.99. Those not wanting the Kinect can get the holiday bundle for the same price which includes a copy of Forza 4 and a download code for a digital copy of Skyrim. The standalone console is also $249.99 but with those two decent bonuses I think the Holiday bundle is the way to go.
